405 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request for assistance from Blakestown community school following a recent arson attack; and if funding can be expedited for urgent repairs. [6455/02]

A design team has been put in place to prepare detailed proposals for reinstatement works following the recent fire at Blakestown community school. The immediate works required have already been put in place under the supervision of a consultant architect.
