Vol. 552 No. 1

Written Answers. - Domiciliary Care Allowance.

John McGuinness

Ceist:

296 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a domiciliary care allowance was refused to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if the case will be reviewed. [11214/02]

The assessment of entitlement to and payment of the domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
