102 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow who was assessed for orthodontic treatment recently by the Eastern Regional Health Authority but was informed that, going by his Department's guidelines, this person was not bad enough to go on the waiting list for treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to the person concerned rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Depart ment has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
