Ceist:

568 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people employed in the health service; and the number in each of the health board areas, giving the amount of doctors, nurses, ancillary staff and administration. [13901/02]

The information requested by the Deputy, as on 31 December 2000, is as set out in the following table. Information in respect of employment levels on 31 December 2001 is being compiled at present.
