Ceist:679 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs when she will appoint the pensions ombudsman; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13343/02]
Written Answers. - Pensions Ombudsman.
The Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2002, which was passed in April 2002, provides for the establishment of the office of the pensions ombudsman. The ombudsman will be appointed and the office established as soon as possible this year.
