Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure.
Excluding expenditure under the Army pensions Vote, expenditure on the Defence Forces in 2001 was €689 million approximately. The corresponding figure for this year is expected to be €688 million approximately. The allocation for 2003 will be decided later this year in the context of the Estimates process.
