1110 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount of money set aside by his Department for capital development at Waterford Regional Hospital over the next five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16508/02]
The prioritisation and delivery of health capital developments at Waterford Regional Hospital are in the first instance, a matter for the South Eastern Health Board under the national development plan. The board has established a project team which is preparing briefs for future developments at the hospital. Funding required will depend on the extent of the proposed developments. The provision of such funding will be examined in the context of capital priorities and general capital funding available.
