I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that in the short tax year 2001 the taxpayer suffered dividend withholding tax and deposit interest retention tax. As the taxpayer's income was below the relevant exemption limit, she was entitled to a refund of all tax deducted. The full amount of tax deducted –€1,070.06 – has been refunded as follows: 8 May 2002, €413.56; 27 August 2002, €242.94; 4 October 2002, €413.56.
