208 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the criteria likely to be used in the course of the forthcoming budget to determine outturns for the year ending 31 December 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21614/02]

Budget 2003 will be presented to the Dáil on 4 December 2002. I will be setting out the position at that time, as is normal, on all relevant budgetary matters.
