376 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Transport the meetings there have been with representatives of taxi drivers in the past 18 months; the dates on which such meetings occurred; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21213/02]
I have had meetings on seven occasions with representatives of taxi drivers since I took office in June of this year. The dates of these meetings and the groups involved are as follows: 18 July, National Taxi Drivers Union; 11 September, National Taxi and Private Hire Association; 27 September, Galway taxi drivers; 10 October, two meetings, Irish Taxi Drivers Federation and SIPTU taxi branch; 14 October, Taxi Company Owners Association; and 4 November, Families Advocate Immediate Redress.
