379 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Transport the timescale for a railway works order at Kilkenny; when he will be in a position to approve the strategy process in respect of this order; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21097/02]
I have not yet received an application for a railway works order from Iarnród Éireann in respect of the proposed rail works in Kilkenny. I understand that the company expects to be in a position to submit an application to my Department early in 2003 for consideration.
