433 Mr. Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the communications his Department has had with Kildare County Council, on the matter of a new sewerage scheme for Monasterevin; and when he will approve the tender proposals which are with his Department for this sewerage plant. [21487/02]
This scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme for 2002 to 2004 under the rural towns and villages initiative. Kildare County Council's tender recommendation for the scheme will be further considered on receipt by my Department of a report on the application of water pricing policy and of further details relating to the cost of the scheme which have been requested from the council.
