183 Mr. Cregan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; the community care area in which the health board considers this person to reside; and if this person will be admitted to hospital at the earliest possible date. The provision of services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter, in the first instance, for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
