Ceist:127 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a dealing in the Land Registry Office for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be completed. [26214/02]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application under section 49, the acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Titles Act, 1964, which was lodged on 20 December 2000. Dealing Number D2000SM009625X refers.
Due to their complicated nature applications under section 49, which require detailed examination of claims for registration as owners, can take some time to process.
I am further informed that queries issued to the lodging solicitors on 15 May and that the application cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved. I can assure the Deputy that the matter will receive further consideration as soon as a satisfactory reply to these queries is received.
