421 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the measures as outlined in the Review of Estimates Report which have been implemented by his Department to date; the measures he proposes to implement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4482/03]
The expenditure savings arising out of the measures proposed by the Independent Estimates Review Committee have been reflected in my Department's Estimates allocation for 2003 and I am fully committed to managing resources across the Justice and Equality group of Votes within these allocations. I have established processes within my Department to monitor and report on expenditure and to address issues that may arise in the context of the budget available to me in 2003 having regard to the Government's commitment to manage resources effectively in the changed economic circumstances.
