441 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if she will publish the details of the capital projects being initiated during 2003 by her Department and planned for the following four years; and the current estimate of the final cost of the projects in each case. [14457/03]
The capital expenditure by my Department relates to the provision of office equipment, including computer hardware and software, to support the effective administration of the Department's services.
At this time there are no plans for the initiation of capital information technology projects during 2003 or over the following four years. However, the information systems division of my Department reviews business and technology requirements for all areas on an ongoing basis and schedules its work and procurement programme accordingly.
