Ceist:431 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the research results of a study conducted in County Westmeath on the regeneration of the top element of bog which is surplus to the requirement for turf cutting; if this study has indicated that this type of regeneration is as effective, if not more effective, than a blanket ban on turf cutting; if he will lay the results of the study before Dáil Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
