453 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if Clare County Council has made a submission to his Department regarding a sewage scheme for Milltown Malbay-Spanish Point; the position regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16978/03]
The Miltown Malbay-Spanish Point sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2002-2004, as a scheme to advance through planning. I have recently approved the revised brief submitted by Clare County Council for the appointment of consultants to prepare a preliminary report for this and another scheme being advanced as a grouped project.
