199 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the position in relation to the advancement of the Innishannon water supply to Ballinspittle and Garrettstown; if funding has been approved; and when work in likely to commence. [22681/03]
The Inishannon water supply scheme, which includes Ballinadee, Ballinspittle and Garrettstown has been approved for funding under my Department's water services investment programme 2003-05, rural towns and villages initiative.
My Department is examining a preliminary report of the scheme submitted by Cork County Council. It will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
