368 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in granting a request under FOI in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if a response to the request made almost one month ago can be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The nature of the freedom of information request referred to by the Deputy was such that it was necessary for my Department's freedom of information unit to divide it for response by both the national educational psychological service and the Department's special education section. The national educational psychological service will respond to its element of the request within three working days. The Department's special education section is currently processing its part of the request and a reply will issue very shortly.
