291 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government when he expects to be in a position to reply in full to Parliamentary Question No. 258 of 22 October 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25741/03]
Further to the reply to Question No. 258 of 22 October 2003, certain clarification regarding the project is now being sought from Cork County Council, which is responsible for administering the scheme in its area. When this is to hand, the application will be further considered by my Department and the council will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.
292 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government when an inspection will be carried out regarding a new house grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25748/03]
An inspection with a view to payment of the grant, if in order, will be carried out as soon as possible.
