My Department has not had direct involvement with this capital procurement proposal by the Northern Area Health Board. My Department has recently asked the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the Northern Area Health Board for more detailed information on this proposal. When received, my Department will consider this proposal in the context of future capital priorities and the procurement, funding and other normal criteria applicable to health capital proposals in line with funding resources available.
