329 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the projects which have received funding since January 2002 under the National Development Plan 2000-2006 for heritage purposes, parks or visitor and interpretative centres. [28102/03]
From January 2002 up to the end of June 2003, a total of €23.757 million was spent on heritage projects and projects to develop new visitor/interpretative centres under the habitats protection and conservation and the heritage conservation sub-measures of the national development plan; these sub-measures form part of the BMW and south and east regional operational programmes. Brief details of the 61 projects and associated initiatives supported under these measures from January 2002 to end June 2003 and the funding received are outlined in the following table:
