Payment for supervision duties undertaken by primary school teachers is made on the basis of receipt by my Department of certification from the chairperson, board of management and the school principal that the supervision duties have been carried out. I understand that a claim for payment for the teacher referred to by the Deputy has been received by my Department. The relevant form has been returned to the school for correct certification. Once that process is completed, arrangements will be made for the relevant payment to be issued as soon as possible thereafter. If the school authorities have any queries regarding the completion of that form, the primary payments section of my Department should be contacted for assistance.
