319 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the number of personnel employed by his Department; the breakdown by county and number of the locations of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30179/03]
The total number of staff employed in my Department as at 30 November is 444. A breakdown by county is as follows: 412 in County Dublin, two in County Kerry, two in County Offaly and 28 in County Mayo. My personal secretary and personal assistant are based in County Kerry. The National Museum has a temporary storage facility at Daingean, County Offaly, and the Museum of Irish Folklife is located at Turlough Park House, Castlebar, County Mayo.
