Ceist:112 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position regarding the application by a person (details supplied) in County Louth for a REP scheme payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31451/03]

All payment applications have now been processed for the person named and he was notified in mid October of an overpayment situation due to the fact that certain lands contained in his REPS application were ineligible for payment.
I understand that the applicant has asked the Independent Agriculture Appeals Office to examine his case and he will be informed of the outcome in due course.
