Ceist:230 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the funding which has been made available from his Department to help persons affected by the landslide in north Mayo; and the help available for these persons. [31464/03]
Written Answers. - Mayo Landslide.
The Western Health Board provides community services which are funded by my Department. I understand from the Western Health Board that an officer of the board, together with a senior psychologist, attended a public meeting concerning the landslide in Pullathorna on 3 October 2003 and made themselves available for consultation with any member of the community who wished to engage with them. I also understand that the board has provided the local community with a contact number for counselling services if they wish to avail of them in the future.
