As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Sligo area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the North-Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Limerick rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
