Business of Joint Committee

No apologies have been received. I remind members that mobile phones should be turned off. I understand they have them on to receive emails, but I ask them to at least keep them away from the microphones, as they cause a lot of interference. Last week there were a lot of complaints from the broadcasting unit, although I admit the problem probably lay more with delegates than members. I will say it to the delegates when they arrive. Therefore, mobile phones should be put away for our own benefit.

The minutes of the meeting held on 25 January have been circulated. Are they agreed to? Agreed.

The joint committee went into private session at 9.35 a.m. and resumed in public session at 9.50 a.m.
