I have to acquaint the House that the Minister for Industry and Commerce has to be in the Dáil after 6 o'clock this evening. In the circumstances, should the proceedings on the two Bills on the Order Paper be concluded before 6 o'clock the House will then adjourn until Wednesday next; if not concluded they will be resumed next week. I understand also that the Minister for Finance will not be available to-day for the resumption of the debate on the motion which appears on the Order Paper. That is the present understanding. If there is any alteration in that respect, it will be announced later.
Business of Seanad.
Are we to understand that, if the Committee Stage of the Industrial Research and Standards Bill is not concluded at 6 o'clock, the House will adjourn until Wednesday next?
That is so.
