Vol. 125 No. 5

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Upton that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Government to take all possible steps to prevent the spread of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) to animals and humans.

I also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The urgent need for the Minister for Education to fulfil her committment to the construction of a community school at Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Upton and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Upton's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Neville may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
