Vol. 128 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Seán Byrne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to explain the reason for the delay with regard to an extension to Ardfinnan national school, Clonmel.

I also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to fulfil her commitment to construct a second level school at Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I also received notice from Senator Raftery of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to take steps to remove dead and dangerous trees in public places, particularly these along the roadsides.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Byrne, Neville and Raftery as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Byrne's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Neville and Raftery may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
