I have notice from Senator O'Kennedy that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to request Telecom Éireann to carry out a social impact study on the effect of its rebalancing programme on handicapped, disabled and immobile people, with a view to limiting the hardship of the new scheme of charges on such citizens.
I have also received notice from Senator McGennis of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education to agree to the requests from St. Philip's national school, Mountview, Clonsilla, Dublin 15, for a remedial teacher and a home-school liaison teacher.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
