I move:
That Seanad Éireann agrees with the recommendation of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges that, in accordance with the provision for the address to Seanad Éireann by Distinguished Persons, Mr. Neil Kinnock, European Commissioner for Transport and Trans European Networks be invited to address Seanad Éireann on 29 October 1996; and the proceedings shall consist of a speech by the Cathaoirleach welcoming Commissioner Kinnock, the address by Commissioner Kinnock at the conclusion of which he will reply to questions from Members and a speech of thanks by the Leas-Chathaoirleach for the address; and that the time for such address be 4.30 p.m."
