I move amendment No. 38:
In page 33, subsection (1), line 45, after "aquaculture which" to insert ", before or after the commencement of this section,".
This amendment extends powers of removal of unauthorised aquaculture structures, not only to structures in place on the foreshore after the commencement of the section, but also to any such illegal structure put in place before the commencement of the section. In summary, problem structures put in place on the foreshore in the past and those which may be put in place and which become a nuisance can be dealt with under this legislation.
