I move amendment No. 9:
In page 5, paragraph (a), lines 19 to 21, to delete "a copy of the warrant shall be given to the person arrested, and the warrant shall be shown to him, at the time or, if it" and substitute "the warrant shall be shown to, and a copy of same given to, the person arrested at the time of such arrest or, if the warrant".
I am not in a position to accept amendments Nos. 9, 10, 11 and 20, but I may be able to accept them after consultation with the parliamentary draftsman between now and Report Stage.
I may resubmit these amendments on Report Stage.
