174 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when an application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo for grant aid under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme will be dealt with by the Western Health Board. [14773/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly in the Mayo area is operated by the Western Health Board, on behalf of the Department of Environment Heritage and Local Government. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
