91 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, in relation to the €100,000 funding for the farming community in north Mayo following the landslides of September 2003, the guidelines which have been drawn up for its distribution; and when application forms will be available for same. The guidelines for this scheme have been drawn up and application forms have been prepared. However, the scheme requires formal EU approval as a State aid before it can proceed. My Department is maintaining close liaison with the Commission on this and I am very hopeful that approval will be forthcoming shortly.
