Ceist:265 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be notified of his entitlements under the single payment scheme following his appeal for consideration of force majeure-exceptional circumstances which was submitted in March 2004; and when this appeal will be finalised. [33324/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe circumstances put forward in this force majeure application relate to a discrepancy between the commonage forage area declared by the person named in 2001 and 2002 and that found by the area aid unit following re-digitisation. However, this discrepancy did not affect production during the reference years and consequently has no effect on the total amount of the single farm payment due to the person named.
A letter explaining this position and a statement of provisional entitlements are due to issue to the person named this week.
