223 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the breakdown for the nursing home subvention guidelines in each of the former health board areas; and the lowest and highest amounts paid for each region. [3733/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Health Act 2004 provided for the Health Service Executive, which was established on 1 January 2005. Under the Act, the executive has the responsibility to manage, deliver or arrange to be delivered on its behalf, health and personal social services. This includes responsibility for the provision of the nursing home subvention scheme in the Health Service Executive. Accordingly, my Department has requested the chief officers for the executive's areas to investigate the matter raised and to reply directly to the Deputy.
