314 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if she will review the application for assistance under the heading of force majeure in the case of persons (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7478/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe persons named have been notified that the circumstances outlined by them do not satisfy the criteria for force majeure or exceptional circumstance under Article 40 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1782/2003. The persons named have been advised that they can appeal my Department’s decision to the independent single payment appeals committee if they wish to have a full review of the circumstances outlined.
