Ceist:177 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive compensation under the single payment scheme. [12661/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named has had his single payment entitlement calculation based on the years 2000 to 2002. He has applied to have this calculation reviewed and has sought to have the reference period 1997 to 1999 used instead as he had de-stocked his sheep from 397 in respect of 1997 and 1998.
His application for a review has now been examined. His single payment calculation will be revised and the earlier reference period will now be used in his entitlements calculation. This will increase the number of ewes used in that calculation from 294 to 397. A revised statement of entitlements will be issued to the person named in due course.

Ceist:178 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the recent publication of the names of recipients of EU agricultural subsidies in the United Kingdom will be replicated here. [12662/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department does not currently publish as a matter of course the names of individual recipients of EU agricultural subsidies or the amounts paid to each of them. At this point I have no plans to change this practice. It might be noted that under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Acts, an interested party may seek to obtain information of this kind, subject to the safeguards contained in the said Acts.
