129 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Transport the status of the mid-term review of national car testing service; when the outcome of the national car testing service review will be published; if he anticipates that changes emanating from the national car testing service review will be implemented from the beginning of 2006; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A report on the outcome of the mid-term review of the national car testing service conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers for my Department is being finalised and is expected very soon. Arising from the report, it is my intention to announce any necessary adjustments to the current NCT arrangements at an early date and for them to be implemented from January 2006.
