Ceist:225 Mr. Blaney asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the Health Service Executive north-west area has accepted that there is a bed shortage crisis at Letterkenny General Hospital, which they hope to ease with the opening of an 11-bed oncology ward in the near future, whilst they are also looking at another project to increase bed capacity on an interim ward; if funding will be made available for the capital and revenue costs involved for this project; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
