283 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Education and Science the steps taken to secure the future of a school (details supplied) in Dublin 8 beyond the current school year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36947/06]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy may be aware, the decision to close the school to which he refers was taken by the school's Trustees and it was decided that the closure of the school would take place on a phased basis, culminating with full closure in June 2007.
Thanks in part to the cooperation of another school in the immediate area, the necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that all pupils in the closing school will be accommodated.
