182 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the languages in which his Department’s telephone messages are recorded; and if his Department’s messages include a version in the Irish language. [11885/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has a telephonist assistant service in place to cover normal business hours. The Department has facilities to utilise recorded telephone answering messages in both Irish and English outside of those hours. Staff are encouraged to use both languages when recording their personal greeting for those occasions when their assigned telephone extension is temporarily unattended or engaged.
