O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the number of appointments to State boards, State bodies or other like entities which he envisages making or nominating in the period 26 March 2007 to 31 May 2007; if he will identify any such board, body or entity involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The number of current vacancies as of 26 March 2007 or falling due on or before 31 March 2007 is 55 in all State Boards, State Bodies or other like entities. I intend to fill any vacancies that arise between now and the end of May in the normal way.
