630 Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if funding will be provided to a Gaeltacht road (details supplied) in County Mayo, in view of the fact that the application was submitted six to seven years ago. [20476/07]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe application referred to by the Deputy relates to Scéim na mBóithre Áise, under which some 450 applications are on hand at present in the Mayo Gaeltacht. In that context, following examination of the application in question on a number of occasions, the road was given a low priority rating. I can assure the Deputy, however, that the application will be kept under review during the next programme of works under Scéim na mBóithre Áise.
