333 Deputy John O’Mahony asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs his plans in co-operation with the Industrial Development Authority and Údarás Na Gaeltachta to find replacement jobs in County Mayo (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10203/08]
Amharc ar fhreagraStatutory responsibility for the development of the economy of the Gaeltacht by promoting productive schemes of employment rests with Údarás na Gaeltachta. An tÚdarás has assured me that it is making every effort to find replacement jobs for the region in question, with the co-operation of the Industrial Development Authority and Enterprise Ireland, as appropriate.
