903 Deputy Richard Bruton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his Department has a system for logging communications from members of the public and responding to the queries raised; and if it has broken down in the case of correspondence from a person (details supplied). Amharc ar fhreagraI can inform the Deputy that all electronic correspondence of the type referred to by the Deputy is logged and tracked to the relevant Division of my Department for attention. Due to an administrative oversight the particular correspondence in question was forwarded to the wrong area within my Department. I can, however, inform the Deputy that a response has issued to the person in question and the delay in responding is regretted.
